This Privacy Policy describes how Toasty (“the App”, “we”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application.
Toasty is developed and operated by Le Dang Khoa, based in Vietnam.

1. Information We Collect
Automatically Collected Information
When you use the App, we may automatically collect:
- Device information: OS type and version, device model, screen resolution
- Usage data: App interactions, feature usage, session events, crash logs
- Anonymous identifiers: A locally generated device ID (not linked to your identity)
We do not collect advertising identifiers (IDFA/ADID) or track you across other apps.
Information for Subscriptions
If you purchase a subscription, payment is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID. We use RevenueCat as a subscription management platform, which receives an anonymous user identifier and purchase receipt data from Apple to manage your entitlement status.
Information for Support
If you contact us via email for support, we may collect your email address and any information you voluntarily provide. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide and maintain the App's core functionality
- Analyze usage patterns to improve the App experience
- Process and manage subscriptions
- Diagnose technical issues and fix bugs
- Understand aggregate user behavior (no individual profiling)
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or other third parties.
4. On-Device Processing
Toasty uses device sensors and cameras for mission features. All processing happens entirely on your device:
- Camera (Object Hunt & Sky Gazing): Apple Vision and ML Kit run on-device to detect objects and classify sky conditions. No images are captured, stored, or transmitted.
- Front Camera & TrueDepth (Push-Up Mission): ARKit face tracking is used solely to detect and count push-up movements. No facial recognition, biometric identification, or depth data is saved, sent to servers, or used for any other purpose.
- Microphone (Bible Read Mission): Speech recognition runs on-device to validate verse reading. No audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted.
No camera, TrueDepth, or microphone data ever leaves your device.
5. Data Retention
- Analytics data is retained by PostHog according to their retention policies. We do not maintain separate copies.
- Subscription data is retained by RevenueCat for the duration of your subscription and as required for transaction records.
- Local app data (alarms, streaks, settings) is stored on your device via AsyncStorage and is deleted when you uninstall the App.
- Support emails are retained only as long as necessary to resolve your inquiry.
6. Data Security
We implement reasonable measures to protect your information:
- All network communications use encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS)
- No personal data is stored on our servers
- Local data remains on your device
- Third-party services maintain their own security standards
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access information we hold about you
- Delete your local app data by uninstalling the App
- Opt out of analytics by contacting us at wakeup@toastyalarm.app
- Request deletion of any support correspondence
Since the App does not require account creation and uses anonymous identifiers, most data cannot be linked back to you personally.
8. Children's Privacy
Toasty is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at wakeup@toastyalarm.app so we can take appropriate action.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the “Effective Date” at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
